For my work, the team leader will get the credit. Whatever I do they will try to sort out something wrong with it or else ask me to do it again. It will be an irritating thing. Why women can’t do anything right???
I can’t decide whether it was the time I got yelled at by my manager, or the time I got hypothermia.
Customer sexually harassed me and the owners did nothing about it.
Worked at a certain coffee chain in California, co-worker harassed me both in and outside of work, found me on Facebook and told me he wanted to do creepy things to me
Told my boss and he said “Meh just ignore him” later found out they were both friends, contacted corporate and got them both fired, but this shit went on for MONTHS
Would catch him sniffing my jacket and other creepy things.
A colleague was fired by my boss in front of me outright the moment she commited a mistake.
This haunts me til now.
Found out my boss installed spyware on our computers and was monitoring our internal chatlogs.
-spat on by a customer and had a phone thrown at me
-had to deal with the half of the staff alienating me because of some dude trying to cheat on his gf with me and I called him out for it
-my student took his life
Not the worse, but a recent one: My boss was pissed at me for not working enough during my maternity leave.
In an apartment/office, I walked into the only bathroom (after knocking a million times) and saw my boss sitting on the toilet fully naked wiping himself. We just stared at each other.
other than sexual harassment, i fell in a manhole behind my job on shift. that was fun.
Worked at a startup, was being paid about 20% below industry standard. After 2 years there I had my request for a raise denied because they “couldn’t afford it” and then two months later the company had a holiday party that cost hundreds of thousands to put on.
I left the company not long after and got a better paying job offer in less than a week.
My worst experience is seeing one of my internship bosses leave a notebook in a shared office who wrote mean things about me in it. (Chose this over work place harrassment cause it hurt me the most emotionally)
People being racist.
I peed my pants because it was too busy.
