i'm straight, 26M. before the stressful years (and probably the hair loss lol) women loved me too. i had no issues attracting women. i'm almost certain that some (more mature women) flirt with me here and there but it's not anywhere near what i experienced previously. mind you, in contrast to earlier years, i look much "rougher". how come gay men lust on me to such an extent while most women barely look at me? is it possible that women might be scared of my appearence?

What is the actionable advice you are seeking here?
Gay men might lust on you because what you are decribing sounds like 100% “bear” stereotype. If you’d like to change that, you can Google it (if you don’t know what it is) and change that.
And, no clue why women barely look at you– I am only one woman, but, personally, I just don’t find myself oggling or checking out people in any obvious way in public at all, regardless of presentation or appearance.
