It was an accident. I had started playing WOW, and made a female character, and dudes just started giving me good items, so I ran with it. Only played a few months though.
Well when playing online games the moment people found out my wife was a girl, she’d start getting all these messages from desperate nerd guys.
So I created a female character and we just let everyone believe we were a lesbian couple. It worked like a charm, suddenly we were both just a couple of dudes playing in their minds.
Someone thought I was a woman because I was a female gnome warrior and gave me gold.
I was thinking about asking this,
Cause there have been instances where they have talked for days without asking for money or any favour, i can’t figure out why

I had just learned what women were and went through a curiosity phase.
To clarify, I knew that there were men and women, but I had only just learned that women had different privates than men. It was a strange time.
I wanted to find out if it was as bad as it is often claimed. And I found out that while there were some rather nice and even outright sweet interactions that ladies show an exceptional restraint when complaining about how they are treated by certain parts of the male population.
Also, I found out that… let’s call it gossip… travels far and lightning fast. Guys, don’t try to hook up with a girl in an online community unless you really, really mean it. Because more often than not _every_ girl will know ***seconds*** after you made your move, _especially_ if “she” isn’t into you.
Getting free XP on a community server in CS: Source. It was a Warcraft mod and a friend started the joke. It then went on for 8 months, where I faked my name, voice and everything because all the admins showered me with XP, attention and admin privileges. Totally worth.
Not sure if this exactly fits but… my gf at the time asked me to make a online profile of her on a “dating site” to try to pick up a third person for us to play with. I set up the profile and pretended to be her with about 15 different people. I eventually narrowed it down to 3 and she made the final pick. But she never even saw the profile until the day we all met. What a fun time.
Sometimes I just want to roleplay as a female character in MMOs and other interactive online lobbies.

My wife’s ex did this for some pretty fucked up reasons. He made profiles on a few gambling apps and would start flirting with the guys he was playing with. Naturally, they expressed interest. So, he would give them my wife’s contact information, misrepresenting himself as her, and promising dates, sex, etc. She had to change her phone number three times because she was receiving so many unsolicited dick pics and lewd messages. It took a while to figure out how these guys kept getting her number. Unfortunately, she felt compelled to inform her ex each time she changed her number since they had shared custody of their daughter. Once she figured out his sick prank, she stopped sharing her number with him. We ended up getting her daughter her own phone (she was around 10yo at the time) and would use that if we needed to communicate with his sorry ass.
I’ve never pretended, but from years of online dating, its weird how many gay dudes will make profiles of women and try to trick you into sexual stuff. Its always blatantly obvious that you’re talking to a man.
Like sorry dude, actual women do not interrupt conversations to tell you how horny they are. No woman has ever used the phrase “throbbing pussy” as an icebreaker.

I used to play Warframe religiously. The female characters were my favorite to play as. I found their powers to be unique and powerful. No other reason.
I remember a few guys I knew back in high school who played WOW would pretend to be women to get stuff from guys. Basically, they played the damsel in distress to get in-game items. The best part was one of them basically had to abandon his WOW and TeamSpeak accounts because one dude got way too sexual.
The closest I ever got was having a female character in Runescape, then quickly abandoning the game when someone started just giving me stuff and remembering that story.

Girls often looked like they were treated better. And going from no attention to a flood of it was nice. Even given how degenerate a lot of the dms were. Grew up and stopped caring about strangers online. But it was the preferable option to being attention starved with nobody even acknowledging your existence.

I had never played a female character in games, in single player games I name my character my own name.
I can’t remember the details, but an account in the game we played was gifted over to us (my wife and I). On the account was a high-level female character of a class that I didn’t want to level but could use at max level.
So I started playing this female character. Boy did I get a lot of strange messages welcoming me back.
So a guildie that logs on the weekend gets online and starts laughing and laughing about this character I have now, apparently this female character was the server’s sexting champion.
It was such a hoot that I still use that character name.
Well I tell you hwat. I was in a game lobby and some dang youngin commented on my voice and got excited that there was a grill in the game. Now I sale propane and propane products, so I let them know that I was the best darn grill that uses propane.
When I was young, I thought it was funny to prank people on omegle by pretending to be a girl. I would put tennis balls under my shirt, color my nails with a marker, and point the camera down so they didn’t see my face. It was funny just to see them get mad or disappointed when they would finally see my ugly mug.
But I stopped doing it because I saw something soul crushing on there, and I never went back to that hellsite again.
