I messed up a few days ago trimming my beard so i had to do a clean shave. Now that it's been growing out again, i noticed 3 greys on the right side of the lip just underneath the nostril. Im not too concerned about it but i would prefer if they came in evenly.

At what age did you get greys on the face? Did it come evenly?

I'll be 37 in August and i have a few at the top of my head but they are few and far in between. I think i would look pretty awesome with greys on top but i think it would be a bit of an eye sore if it was uneven on my face.

  2. noticed first gray hair when I was 28 and had covid

now I’ve got a few gray whiskers and a decent few strands of gray hair on my head, it’s whatever

  3. Definitely did not come evenly.. i got grey all over my beard and sideburns

  4. 29ish I noticed my first gray hairs in my beard. Haven’t seen any anywhere else yet lol

  5. 37 is late for your first few to be fair.

27 I had 2 on the top of my head. Didn’t see any increase until 30-32 I’d say

39, my moustache is 40% grey, I have 2 lines on grey in my beard. And Dracula / dr strange greys above my ears

  6. Started on my chest in my early 30s. Eventually showed up in the corners of my beard and had been slowly creeping outward since.

  7. 36 started peppering my chin and 39 I’ve developed quite the white / grey patch and I love it.

  8. I’ve had grays in my temple areas for years now. I can’t grow facial hair for shit so TBH I don’t even know if any of it is gray.

I feel like you lucked out a bit at 37.

  9. In my beard they started showing up about 45 or so. At least to the extent of being noticeable. Maybe a few strays prior to that.

At 49 my head has reached the few strays stage.

  10. In my beard about 6 years ago when I was 35 maybe. In my hair when I was 20.

  11. I have started to notice a couple greys here and there, at 30, but nothing significant yet. My partner started to get sporadic greys at the same age, and now at 33 he’s got probably a dozen, maybe two dozen at most.

Meanwhile, we know a guy who started greying in his early 20s. I first met him ~5 years ago when he was 30, and he was already 100% grey at that point.

  12. I started getting single gray hairs when I was about 21. I had a noticeable amount by the time I was 25. By 40, I was losing it at about the same pace as it was turning gray.

  13. I keep my beard low, 3mm. So they don’t show as much but I was clean shaven until 1 year ago, so the grey just came alone with it. I have like 4 strands. Not noticable unless you’re searching for it

  14. 38 first grey hairs; 46 now; hair still looks solid but if you get within hugging distance you notice probably 50 on any given day.

  15. I got mine at like 15 – 18… genetics. I’m healthy but the grey hair has been attacking me relentlessly… now it’s everywhere!!! I feel like my hair’s going full white before I hit 40. I’m not balding though. my hairline’s strong. good trade I guess.

  16. I found my first gray hair at 19.

    By 26, I had a skunk stripe.

At 36, I went to get my driver’s license renewed. They lady at the driver’s license office was like, “6 foot… that’s about right…230 lbs…ok…but honey, we can’t call that hair brown no more…”

  17. Started getting grey hair mid 20’s, started going bald late 20’s.

38 now and I still get grey hair, but in my beard.

  18. My brother’s hair was completely grey by 30. I am 45 no grey up top but my beard is salt and pepper. Beard had zero grey 10 years ago.

  19. I’m nearly 50 and this morning I noticed my first grey pube. Wasn’t expecting that at all. Luckily my partner doesn’t seem bothered. But think I’ll be trimming them more regularly from now on.

  20. I was perhaps… 11? 12 years old?
Yeah I went grey very early, and it got more grey than brown when I got into my early 30s.

  21. I was blessed with thick hair, but it’s greying at a rapid rate. Started at 28, 34 now and the first few on the top of the head are coming through rather than just the sides

  22. Not long after my oldest was born. I’d trade all of my hair being gray if it meant I wasn’t balding anymore.

  23. On my head? Late teens I started. Facial hair mid 30s. Just started getting grey pubes in my late 40s. Embrace it. Women love it and its part of accepting you for you.

  24. Personally, I don’t have any grey hair in places I can see.

Girls around me (and barbers) notice them since I was 20.

  25. I noticed the first few gray hairs in my beard when I was 47, starting getting a few in my hair by 48, and now at 50 I probably have a 100 or more, but they are nice little accents.

  26. 36 1/2. They started coming in a few months ago, I turn 37 in August

  27. Right around 40 maybe 39. I look at it like it’s a badge that I’ve earned and my wife likes it so no hair dye for this guy.
