What European alternatives do we have for Netflix, HBO Max, Disney, Apple and Amazon?
In the past I've used Netflix and HBO, and have focussed on European or non-USA series like Desenfrenadas, Coisa mais linda, Generazione 56K, Valeria, Farina.
Which European alternatves do we have that offer quality tv series and movies? They should serve to the European public, have at least English subtitles, but to have French, German or Dutch subtitles would be great too.

Well we do have BBC iPlayer in the UK as well as other free services (usually TV stations). Films too.
You’d be able to get those with a good VPN to the UK.
I expect iPlayer has subtitles, if you want them, for much of their library.
I assume Discovery+ is Discovery Networks Europe and it carries TNT Sports (was UK BT Sports) and Eurosport.
The Amazon offering, as crap as it is, was a UK created thing way back when.
