And on what platform? What are your gaming habits, for example, do you play 1 or 2 games solidly, or a lot of different games at the same time? Finally, do you watch other people play those games on Twitch, YouTube etc.

  1. When I get any time, Rust on PS5 is the current go to. I suck at it and kids keep terrorising my base and me as I farm. Fun though.

  2. I play on PS5. I usually play FIFA consistently through the year with another game so I’m never bored. Currently Gran Turismo 7, recently was Cyberpunk.

I never watch gamers online and honestly don’t see the appeal, but each to their own.

My wife enjoys games too and so we each easily get 3-4 hours playing a day on a weekday.

  3. Fifa on console, teamfight tactics on iPad… I usually play a couple of hours a day, after work life & adulting is done

  4. Hearthstone, Diablo 2 on PC. Waiting for Two Point Campus. Might occasionally dip into something on Games Pass. Dying Light 2 and Tiny Tina’s Wonderland on Xbox, but I don’t play my Xbox very often.

  5. Me, the Mrs and our son all play Minecraft fairly solidly. Mainly on PC on an SMP. I occasionally play Flight Sim or GTA and my kid likes Forza too.

  6. Elden Ring on PS5. Usually buy 3 or 4 a year. I wait for a certain game and play the shit out of it, sometimes many hundreds of hours. Kinda obsess about it, eventually get bored and never play again after months of playing it. Not unusual for me to go months without playing at all. Quality over quantity for me. I watch a handful of streamers, DrDisrespect for example. Don’t tend to watch Twitch, no reason. I’m mid 30s and gamed since I was 3 or 4…I just don’t identify with or enjoy 90% of streamers or content creators who seem to be gfuel snorting teens with their cringe americanised slang. Not my cup of tea.

  7. Sekiro on Series X. Just discovered it last week and loving it but simultaneously hating its guts too.

  8. We’re a family of gamers, currently playing horizon forbidden west on PS4 I’ve completed the main storyline and the younger kids have been helping. DH is catching up.

Eldest has a pc and plays valorant atm.

The younger two play on anything from the Xbox 360 and the switch mostly but have been getting into PS3 games like uncharted recently.

  9. Don’t get much time, but currently playing Forza Horizon 5 on the xbone. Also slowly working through Fallout 4 and replaying Mass Effect Andromeda.

  10. Mario 3D All-stars.

I’ve come to learn how Mario Sunshine is the weakest of the 3D Mario games. It just doesn’t feel as tight as the others. Still a good game though.

Mario 64 is still my favourite. The precise movements and fun levels never get old.

Mario Galaxy is great. But I really think this collection should have included Mario Galaxy 2 as well.

  11. I’m currently playing monster hunter stories 2 on the switch and its one of the best games I’ve ever played. Its been a while since I’ve played a game that I could happily play all day.

  12. I’m currently replaying Horizon: Zero Dawn on PS5, cuz I want to get Forbidden West and like replaying the previous titles before getting the sequel. I only play one game at a time, and I don’t watch people play the game beforehand because it makes the experience a bit less enjoyable for me. I may ask friends who got the game before me what their general thoughts on it are before buying it myself, but I don’t watch anything which demonstrates gameplay or spoils the story of the game because I want to experience it first-hand when playing the game

  13. Usually one game at once on a PS5, I just finished Lego Star Wars so am now back on Gran Turismo 7. Will go back to Elden Ring soon though

  14. Elden Ring on Xbox Series X. I’ve been dipping in and out of various games for a while but nothing has scratched that “open world challenging game” itch until now. Back in the day I played through the GTA games and Elder Scrolls games but epic single player games seem less available now(?) I guess all the money is in multiplayer games that don’t interest me – even GTA has gone this way.

Im not interested in online twitch streaming culture, I just want some premium single-player game time for myself as a break from real life and away from any real people.

Also Borderlands series (co-op) with wife.

  15. I’m pretty much exclusively a PC gamer, tend to play one or two things at a time. I’m currently addicted to Satisfactory, but I still find time to keep up with Destiny 2 as well

  16. Call of Duty mobile! Easy to just play a game. Don’t have to have an expensive console and expensive games!

  17. Replaying old games in VR this time, like Skyrim and Euro Truck Simulator 2, plus a few browser-based games. I tend to play a handful of games at a time and no, I don’t watch other people play on social media. They do the “social media” voice and face and eyebrows and it annoys me when people act like sheep to get likes. Just speak like you normally do. I respect individuality more.

  18. I’ve been playing pokemon Shield on the switch but I will be playing Cuphead on PC again once the DLC comes out. Sometimes I watch gameplay on YouTube if it’s an interesting game. I usually play one game at once I maybe switch after a couple of weeks if I get bored or complete it

  19. I am a tight git so I play free games on Epic for the most part. I bought Dying Light 2 but I don’t really like it that much so it is just sucking space on my HD..

Just downloaded Prey but most recently I have been playing Borderlands 3 (actually got sick of it), Rage 2, Subnautica and Defence Grid.. I tend to play something to death and then move on though. I have never watched a game stream in my life!

  20. Just got a 3070 TI at a great price, so I’m back into RDR2 at full spec, looks absolutely stunning.

Now I’m modern again, I’m gonna be looking at picking up some AAA games, which I’ve avoided for the past few years due to my rig being a tad old.

  21. I chop and change depending on my mood and TV availability.

PC is Crusader Kings 3 (as much as they try and make it intuitive on consoles, you can’t beat mouse and keyboard for RTS games) and replaying the Homeworld Remastered collection in anticipation of Homeworld 3. Will probably start my annual playthrough of Portal 2 soon too. Waiting for Valve to allow me to buy my Steam Deck I have on order too.

PS5, I’m in the middle of my 4th playthrough of Disco Elysium, or if I fancy some mindless collecting, Lego Star Wars. I’ve also just bought the Life is Strange Remastered collection as it was on sale, so that’s next on my list after Disco Elysium.

  22. On Series X: Forza Horizon 4 & 5, Forza Motorsport 7, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Flight Simulator 2020.

    On PS5: Gran Turismo 7

On PC: Flight Simulator 2020, Euro Truck Sim 2, American Truck Sim

I do play some narrative games, but I’ve nothing on the go right now. Xbox Series X is my most played device these days. Hardly use the PS5 so it wasn’t a wise purchase for me.

I do watch YouTube channels about games – Digital Foundry, Obsidian Ant etc. But I’ve no interest in watching game streaming.

  23. I’ve been out the loop with games for years now but fortnight no build modes got me addicted.

  24. My wife and I play “It takes two” and “overcooked 2” on pc.

If you haven’t played overcooked 2 it’s a top down multiplayer game where up to four players have to work in the kitchen, someone has to get ingredients, chop, cook, assemble, serve, wash up and inevitably put the fires out. If you don’t work together you can’t do it, the arguments are immense. It’s on most consoles too, well worth a look if you like that sort of thing, they also make a game called “moving out” which is similar but you’re working for a removals company.

If my wife’s out I’m on project cars or dirt rally in VR.

  25. Nothing right now because everything else in life is so busy. Most recent games I completed a month or two ago, Horizon: Forbidden West and Frostpunk.

That’s not counting small games I dip in and out of when I don’t have time to fully commit to a big game … recently had a bit of a run of playing Geometry Dash for the first time in years, completed a demon level for the first time.

I like to watch Eurogamer and OutsideXbox, they do a good range of friendly non-toxic coverage of recent releases.

  26. Heavily back into Battletech now ive got all the DLC for it. Installed Mechwarrior 5 Mercs but havent fired it up yet as Battletech is just too damn good!

  27. ATM started playing space engineers again, the groups server we have has been switched from a game we used to play over to a dedicated space engineers server for us.

(there’s 3-6 of us who play and it’s like £25 for 3 months of game server and we can switch it to all sorts of games so we chip in every few months together) .

Usually play some ready or not too for our modern SWAT fix.

We also make the odd video/stream whenever we can be arsed too lol

my single player stuff tends to be assetto corsa and Flight sim 2020.

Edit: this is all on PC.

  28. Working my way through Subnautica on Switch at the mo, having a great time exploring. I’m not usually a fan of open world or gathering/crafting systems, but for whatever reasons Subnautica really just hits a sweet spot that keeps me engaged.

Have Elden Ring on the backburner at the moment, i’m not super far into it but i’m not feeling super compelled to return to it tbh; if anything I want to go back and do another playthrough of Sekiro or Blodborne more.

Also got a load of Pokemon Rom Hacks on my phone, started a new playthrough of Radical Red yesterday and am already getting my arse handed to me.

  29. Pokemon Go has been my game of choice for almost 6 years, in general I’ll play that every day, walking to and from work playing it. I will do raids / community day events with our local group on evenings and weekends.

I don’t seem to play a lot of other games these days, most franchises I used to enjoy have just been milked to death at this point… (Halo, Gears, Forza and so on). I’ve recently finished Pokemon Legends on the Switch which was great and Halo Infinite on the PC, which to be honest I’m glad was on Game Pass as I would have been annoyed paying £50-60 for it.

  30. Battlefield 5, WARNO and Stellaris on PC. No I don’t watch people playing unless they’re on my discord.

I’m getting quite sad though, my reaction times on FPS games has gone to shit since I got older

  31. I play a grand total of 3 games. Robotron 2084 and Defender, which are both old arcade games. I have an arcade cab for these.

The other game I play is Sensible World Of Soccer 96/97, Amiga version. I mainly play this on a PC with a emulator, online, in leagues against others across Europe. I also sometimes play it on a real Amiga when in-person tournaments are arranged.

These are the only games that hold my interest.

  32. I decided to go through my Steam library and pick something I already owned but hadn’t played. So I’ve been playing Parkasaurus, a fun little dinosaur tycoon park game.

  33. Dragons Dogma at the moment on Series X but it’s an Xbox One remaster of an Xbox 360 game. I’m waiting for Crusader Kings 3 updates really, I normally get into 1 game and play that then move on. Don’t really enjoy watching other people play.

  34. Gone back to Siege for the current season. Also on Elden Ring. Both PS5.

  35. Play COD multiplayer most of the time. Its really fucking annoying especially the 30gb updates i really don’t care about. I also play the free PP games, recently its been ufc and fifa22.

Occasionally watch Stonemountain64 on youtube. Back in the day it was general minus and hutch.
