    – Why did you start using dating apps?
I’m looking for a long term partner. I don’t want children, and it’s proven difficult to find other chidfree women just walking around in everyday life. Apps have been the best opportunity for me to come across a woman who shares my desire to live the D.I.N.K life

    – What do you love (or hate) about these platforms?
There is not much to love on most dating apps as they are designed to drain money from its users and not really to assist you in finding a partner. They are glitchy, sometimes I get notifications, sometimes I don’t we have no way of knowing if we are wasting our time reaching out to matches and if they are reading or even seeing our messages, you can’t narrow anything down without paying a mostly unreasonable fee (considering how little you get) it’s far easier to list the things I don’t like on most apps than to find the advantages.

    – Any unique features that stand out to you?
I tend to prefer Hinge, I feel it’s the best all around app. I enjoy that they have a feature that shows whether someone has been active recently that’s helpful in giving me an idea of who is at least checking their profiles periodically. Once you pay for a membership it also appears to have the best overall search and match features to narrow down your search

    – Have you explored different dating apps? Why or why not?

I’ve used all the apps just trying to find the best one for me, I try to keep an open mind and I’m pretty open to doing anything to find the right person, I’m willing to go outside of my comfort zone.

    – Got any ideas for enhancing dating apps?
Stop hiding all the good features behind a payroll.
Try to weed out the people who don’t want to put in effort. Engage features to report ghosting on dates for people who don’t respond to messages within a reasonable amount of time etc

    – How do you evaluate the quality of your matches?
If they put in effort and don’t constantly have excuses about being busy. People who’s goal is to go out on dates with their matches and not just waste their time.
