Americans in urban areas, does your city have a suburb/neighborhood known for being “old money” rich? What about “new money” rich?

Is there a distinction you’ve noticed? Or do the rich areas just blend together?

Mexico and Germany
France, Italy, Spain
England
Canada is the foreign country I’ve been to the most.
I’ve only traveled outside of the US once, when my wife and I went to Scotland on our honeymoon. It was a wonderful, once in a lifetime experience.
England. Most of my relatives are there.
India would be second, but I’ve also lived there for a couple years.
Austria and Denmark. Followed by Germany.
Mexico. I used to work in the automotive industry and travelled to Mexico ALL the time.
Uzbekistan
Mexico. Been to Mexico City twice. Rocky Point like 4 times. Nogales close to 15 times. Tijuana twice
Western Europe.
UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany.
I now live in Europe so this feels like cheating considering I can drive/fly around the continent quite easily.
But outside of Europe it’s South Korea, Rwanda and Kenya.
Surprise, Surprise Mexico (4x) and Canada (3x)
Canada. We live 3 hours from Niagara Falls or 3.5 from Windsor ON. We often go for a weekend.
England, I guess? But mostly because I had to connect via there.
I haven’t revisited a country yet. I’m pretty centrally located in the US, so if I’m going international, I usually want to see something new.
Canada and Mexico for visiting. Thailand for living
I live in Germany currently, and have also previously lived in New Zealand and Thailand.
Have visited China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, France, Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Italy, and Mexico most frequently.
I think I’ve visited Netherlands and Belgium most often. I immigrated to a region maybe 30 minutes from Netherlands and a little over an hour from Belgium.
Oh Canada!
Mexico #1, Canada #2
I had to count. Bahamas 8 times and second place tie of Mexico and Jamaica with 5 times.
I used to go on 3 trips a year for 1 week. I always said I won’t go to the same place twice. Then I drove around Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula. Then I went back 1 of those weeks to Mexico every year for about 20 years, I loved it and the people so much.

For me it’s definitely Caribbean islands which isn’t a single country of course (been to maybe 25-30 of them) and Mexico. They are easily traveled to from Boston and has been really easy to get cheap flights over the years.
I’ve lived in Germany and Belgium, so they’re out.
You could say Canada, but I kind lof lived there under the radar for a few months. Before that, I visited at least weekly for about two years.
Beyond that, maybe Austria, because I took trips there fairly often when I lived in Germany.
If you count “driving through” as visiting, I drove through the Netherlands quite frequently for a few years.
Canada. I’ve always lived fairly to extremely close to the Canadian border and have been there probably over 100 times. Doesn’t really feel like visiting a foreign country, more like North Michigan (sorry to the Canadians out there).
Canada
Iceland. Honestly for my goals when traveling it checks every single box.
I’ve only been to Canada but I have been there twice so, Canada
Italy, mostly in Sicily. My family reconnected with cousins on my mother’s side there a few years ago, amo l’Italia.
Sweden, Germany, England, Mexico.
China (been about 14 times and spent about 2 years there) and Finland (spent a year living there).
Mexico and France for work, but India is creeping into that list also because of work. I love Mexico, I could give or take France.
Visited most often?? I’ve had two international trips. Two. One was for a study abroad in college in which I got full scholarships for. I don’t even get out of my state.
Mexico. I think I’ve been there twice, maybe 3 times. Only been to Canada once.
The UK. Been to London a few times, Edinburgh once, and most recently to Canterbury/Dover, Stonehenge, and a few days visiting family in London.
Canada is most frequent as I live in the US, but I’m Canadian and not able to count it due to the second rule.
Although I never lived in another country, I’ve been to almost 40 countries and Italy is the foreign country I’ve visited the most.
Mexico
Canada, because it’s two miles away
France
Mexico, France, The UK, and Canada
Foreign countries I’ve visited more than once:
* France (5 times, counting mainland and Guadeloupe together)
* Australia (4 times)
* Finland (3 times)
* China (2 times, counting mainland and Hong Kong together)
* Israel (2 times)
* Netherlands (2 times, counting mainland and Sint Maarten together)
