The only one I can think of is unfortunately JJ McCullough (who is a Canadian). And when I mean healthily, I mean like this sub.

  1. The vibe i’ve always got from JJ is that he dislikes Canada more than he likes us.

  2. [Peter Santanello](https://youtube.com/@PeterSantenello) goes to all parts of the US. He’s done tours of coal mine towns in West Virginia, chicanos in East LA, the roughest hoods in New York, Detroit, etc., and even sheriffs at the border.

He’s basically an investigative journalist bc he tags along with a local and they just give them in-depth perspectives on their day to day lives.

  3. I enjoy Lost in the Pond. Laurence Brown is a British born man who moved to America in 2008 and shares his views on the differences between British lives and Americans

  4. Geography King, maybe? He provides some good surveys of the country without placing too much emphasis on the negatives.

  5. Just to cover the bases, there are some foreigners who do some good work: Feli from Germany (who lives in Ohio now), Diane Jennings (Irish, has fun stories about visiting the US, esp. LA) , Mosco (“Wee Scottish Lass”, visited around but especially Boston), Lost in the Pond (British, currently lives in an American suburb, I’m not sure which.) etc. JJ McCullough does some interesting stuff, I agree.

  6. Lost In The Pond is all about a British guy discovering US culture after he immigrated here, he’s pretty funny

  7. Peter Santenello doesn’t do exclusively American videos, but he’s done a lot on the various American subcultures we have here. Someone that’s part of said culture invites him to do a documentary on their own way of life. It’s not biased either way as far as I can tell, and it’s extremely informative since you’re getting an in depth perspective as someone who actually lives in that subculture. It opened my eyes to many different aspects of American life, the majority of the time changing my opinion in a positive way.

  8. 1. Peter Santenello

Peter has a slightly conservative bent, IMO, but not overwhelmingly so by any means. A thorough documentarian and likely a fine gent. His focus is always the community and its people, not about himself unlike some others on YouTube (😮‍💨 Kara & Nate 😮‍💨).

    2. Wolters World’s content is mostly not American, but he also has plenty of outstanding, friendly, no-nonsense content covering coast to coast. (His home base is in Illinois.)

  9. No idea why you’re downvoted for this question.

A lot of YouTubers put their own twist on stuff instead of just showing it like it is.

I watched this amazing video, dude was pretty much objective and let the content speak for itself instead of getting in the way, so his presence really compliments the video instead of working against it.

That’s the only video of his I’ve watched but just throwing it out there.
