I can’t post in the sub, it repeats the anti robot puzzle seemingly endlessly. Has anyone else encountered this?
Arrived back in Istanbul last night, it’s always a pleasure to be here… one of my favourite cities in the world.

I went to Malibu today and disappointed myself by totally forgetting to order a Malibu cocktail while I was there. Hardly surprising really, since Malibu isn’t exactly a place you’d associate with rum or coconuts – it’s just not warm enough in winter for coconut palms. In fact, a quick Google reveals that Malibu cocktails have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with Malibu at all, but are instead produced in Barbados using coconuts grown in the Philippines.
What else am I being lied to about?
Is this [song](https://youtu.be/xWI98zXstlI) comparing Erdogan to an Ottoman sultan supposed to be genuine or satire? The line between them is very thin these days.
Yesterday evening I was riding on this gravel road that goes parallel to railway tracks next to a light industrial area, and I saw two guys standing next to a car shooting a rifle. We’re talking like less than 1 km from buildings. To be fair, I didn’t hear any shots, but as I rode past them one of them was aiming it towards the forest so I assume they were shooting it. It was like a modern looking bolt action rifle.
It’s pretty weird to see that, especially when it’s not hunting season and it was so close to civilisation.
Huh, I have been told that I put on weight. I wear the same clothes, and I don’t weigh myself often, so I didn’t notice.
I should do something about it, I guess… It’s a bit upsetting.
If it was up to you, would you let Norway adopt the euro currency?
