At my job there’s this girl that I’ve always found cute but never really tried anything since I’m usually pretty quiet. Recently however, she started talking to me and being very friendly with me. Smiling whenever she saw me, staring at me, and whenever we talk it was nonstop conversation and banter between us.
Then even after work she’d text me and we’d spend hours talking. While we were texting she mentioned this restaurant that’s really good and I said I’ve never been there and asked if she’d wanna go with me and she agreed.
Next day we go to the restaurant and we have a great time. No awkward silence and nonstop laughing between us to the point she had tears coming out. Her mom would call her and I’d ask if she was gonna get the phone and she’d just say it could wait and kept talking to me so I took it all as good signs.
Afterwards though, she hasn’t been texting as frequently sometimes not at all and seems pretty dry when she does. And now she takes a while to get back to me when before it was only a couple minutes or instantly. Her best friend works with us and mentioned how she thinks I’m really nice to talk to so I’m not sure what’s happening.

Assume the best and communicate with her if you’re finding yourself unable to self settle. She may just feel secure in the mutual feelings and be a bit tired of being on her phone alot.
