“Lil something” referring to something illegal.
“My mom found a little something in the crib and almost disowned me”
Crib is another way of saying your home. I’m assuming the “something” is something illegal or something his mother didn’t want to be with him.
rewound a little bit to get context. the guy in the blue jacket is describing how his parents discovered he was dealing drugs and responded very softly & encouraged him to get his degree.
the black guy is saying, in contrast, his mom found a little something (small amount of drugs, given the context) in the crib (their home) and nearly disowned him.
