    Crib is another way of saying your home. I’m assuming the “something” is something illegal or something his mother didn’t want to be with him.

  3. rewound a little bit to get context. the guy in the blue jacket is describing how his parents discovered he was dealing drugs and responded very softly & encouraged him to get his degree.

    the black guy is saying, in contrast, his mom found a little something (small amount of drugs, given the context) in the crib (their home) and nearly disowned him.
