Last Saturday, I(M23) went on a date with a girl(F24) and overall, the date was ok. She knows I’m Intrested in her and I think she’s interested in me. There is only 1 issue I had with this girl. She showed up to the date 45 MINUTES LATE !!
Our date was at 5:00. We met up at this bar that serves daiquiri and food near the busy part of town. I should admit I showed up at around 5:05 because I was having a hard time finding parking. I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt so I assumed maybe there was traffic on the way or maybe she had a hard time finding parking. From what she told me , she seemed to had left her house late (around 5:00) which was why she showed up late.
Do you think she is really interested in me? Is this a red flag ?

Yes it is. Question is, do you want to spend the rest of the relationship with her making you wait? I’ll bet if she was interested in you she wouldn’t have been late. Know what I mean?
I run late to everything. BUT I tell people that I’m running late because it’s the polite thing to do. The fact she didn’t tell you she was running late- at any point – that’s a red flag
Props to you for waiting! To me, yes that’s a red flag. I had a guy who showed up 10 minutes late on our first date. Saw him 5, 6 more times after that and he was late every single time. Sometimes 45-50 mins. If something happened and she gave you a heads up she’d be late, maybe give her one more chance. Could be a one-off situation. If she didn’t give you the heads up, I’d recommend walking away from this one
Yes, this is a red flag.
To me, it demonstrates a lack of respect for you and your time. I do not like making people wait for me, so I make every effort to be on time to meet people. That being said, shit happens, and sometimes it’s unavoidable. I would still text them that I am running late and apologize once I got there.

I would not have waited past 10 minutes unless they had sent me a text letting me know they were running late.
The date was at 5 and she left at 5? Nope.
If she tells you in advance, then nah. Shit happens. If she doesn’t show without telling me, meaning no text or call, after 30-45 min id leave. Everyone has stuff to do. Time is valuable. But in your case she seemed to leave around the time you set your date up. So, talk to her about it.
I feel red flag has lost its meaning lol. I always thought red flag means danger, like someone is stalking u or something
