My gf told me she gave me a chance because she was desperate
My gf told me she was desperate when she met me.
I was having a conversation with my gf [20f] and she made a comment to me [20m] that she was a little desperate when she met me because she had no one in her life and thats why she gave me a chance, I made a mistake telling her that made me feel bad and we had a long chat were she told me after our first date she started actually liking me and she says she really loves me and doesnt wanna lose me. I dont know how to feel because i know she loves me but I still feel very bad and idk how to feel about our relationship now.
Can anyone give me advice?

She has admitted it to you instead of hiding it. If she was only here temporary she wouldn’t do it.
Is the fact you gave her bad first impression really that important? You aren’t your first impression you are what she has fallen for when she got to know you. There really shouldn’t be any issue here.
Doesn’t matter if she is loyal now. people get together for more reasons than pure attraction, that is mostly a fairy tale anyway
