How good is the holiday season in your town?

1. We have a million boat parades

2. Hands down, the Christmas markets in Germany are probably the best tradition.

3. We’re a little too small to have any major events but there’s a craft fair in the church and the town theater company usually does a play, though most of the time it’s not Christmas related. The town is going to bury the power lines downtown soon so hopefully in the coming years it will look more quaint with the snow and the lights.

4. Diwali lights a few weeks back, snowflakes on telephone poles for winter, giant menorah, giant manger etc. It’s a great town.

5. My town had Christmas fireworks a week or 2 ago. There is also a tradition where they have toy donation boxes at different businesses to be collected and someone in a Grinch outfit walks around and grabs those items to send to donation.

6. It’s just nice to be able to for a thirty minute run in the afternoon.
