Prepping sandwiches, pouring my own cereal, about 5.
Cooking wise Ramen noodles around 8.
Scrambled eggs!
Made a lot before but, this was my first time using the stove supervised. I was 6
Mostly breakfast food like oatmeal and eggs. I also learned that melting cheese on things in the microwave is always good
Cooking was something like fried rice with onions and tuna, a comfort food my Dad always made.
Doing a pan dish of corn and liver sausage, or fried potatoes was next. Comfort foods too.

My dad taught me how to make coffee in the percolator coffee pot when I was little enough to hop out of bed to watch cartoons. It was the plug in kind versus stovetop.
Pancakes. My mom didn’t buy snacks and that was the closest thing to snacks. I can still hear her telling me the ingredients
