So.. what are your plans for the New Year’s Eve?

  1. Me and my friends are gonna make a cardboard box fort. We are all adults, making adult money.

  2. Gonna watch a lot of football with some friends and hopefully be passed out well before the ball drops.

  3. Nothing, I don’t drink alcohol anymore and I don’t really have people to hang out with. So I’ll just game and read.

  10. Me and my husband will probably go to a sex party. I haven’t convinced him yet but hopefully I will.

  11. Me and my girlfriend have some friends coming over to have a few drinks and play a murder mystery game. I imagine we will get very drunk, lots of laughs and loud music and then regret everything in the morning 🤣🤣

  13. Vacation to St. Pete Beach w/the fam (wifey & 6 & 7 yr olds). We’ll be staying at Tradewinds Resort, which we’ve loved over the years. This wasn’t the plan, but became the plan when daughter got the flu the day before leaving last Friday. We’ve never not been on vaca in December (usually to Oceanside, CA & St.Pete Beach in Feb) so this is new, as will be celebrating New Years on the Beach, toes in the white powder sand, hearing the waves roll (a bit; tiny waves there), probably w/live music & smores at sundown.

  15. Married, so I gotta do the extended in-laws New Years Eve tradition. Which is always…not my favorite lol.

    They do “themes”, and like, I get it for the kids. But they expect the adults to do it too. This year it’s hillbilly. Last year it was “tacky”.

    Like…can we just fucking chill and watch football? lol I hate that kind of shit.

    New Years is already my least favorite, I got the post-holiday blues, seeing the years pass me by gets even freakier to me the older I get…I just dread this party every year lol

  16. Asleep by 10 pm at the latest. It’s a whole year, it’ll be there when I wake up in the morning. Especially in these times, I don’t feel a particular rush to get a new year started. You know, it’s “ah lord, more of this shit” feelings. Going out and getting a New Year’s coffee at 7 am when no one is awake/on the street is brilliant.

  17. My family and I stay home to avoid drunk drivers. There’s a nice restaurant and bar where we live and it’s open on NYE, so we go there to drink and enjoy the buffet before going back upstairs to watch fireworks from all over Coral Gables and South Miami.

  18. Taking a lady I’m dating up to a cabin in Big Bear for a few days. I’ll have her cook breakfast, then go snowboarding, get lunch enjoy live music, watch the torchlight parade, and lastly go out for some fun.

    I’m still planning everything right now. All she’ll have to do is show up, look pretty, and have fun.

  20. SO and I will meet up with some friends, play switch, eat self made hot dogs and drink self made cocktails.

  22. Kids are going out, so my wife and I are spending NYE with my parents. We figured, as long as they’re still alive and well, we should spend as much time with them as possible.

  24. Pretty sure my girlfriend is coming over and we’re gonna make some good food with my kids.

  27. The last several years I fall asleep on the couch around 9:30, wake up around 11:45, ring in the New Year, and go back to bed. I don’t see a need to change that up.

  31. I want to sit on the couch, watch Netflix (still haven’t finished Wednesday), cover up with a blanket, and have the cat curl up in my lap.
