How would you take this reply to something. I was told and am often told by my s/o…. what makes you think I’m doing it. With out context if someone said that to you would you consider it rude.

We need more context here. Its just a vague statement that holds no meaning
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Can’t answer without context. Could be rude, could be a valid response, depending on what it was a response to.
But it’s rude none the less… no matter what the context. Would you say this to your boss? Or would you rephrase it.
It sounds like you’re often accusing them of things; is that the context? Or asking them when they’re doing something without asking *if* they’re doing it? I don’t think it’s an inherently rude statement, but it depends on context. Which you apparently don’t want to supply.
