What is that little thing you look forward to everyday?

  1. Taking my clothes off when I get home.

Its just the best. Especially if I’ve had a rough day. It feels like I’m stripping away the day and can finally relax.

  2. The little things like coffee in the morning, shower at the end of the day, bed time , just seeing my kids happy

  3. the feeling of accomplishing something whether it’s major or minor, listening to someone/speaking to them (a bonus is when you see their eyes sparkle and or their nice smile), wearing my cute outfits, getting through my 2 hour lectures and then taking a small break afterwards

  4. Checking my self-care widget called Finch. It helps promotes gratitude, setting goals throughout the day and really encourages me to journal out my feelings and memories. It’s small but it’s been pretty essential in my grieving journey. Her name is Marbles and she is the cutest. I love hearing about her little adventures she’s been on and answering her questions that mold her personality as she grows up 🐥💛

  5. Honestly? Not much right now. Coffee maybe, and when the sun is out – going for a walk

  6. The first coffee of the day. I actively look forward to it. The following coffees never taste quite as good 🙁

  7. Morning coffee, evening after work tea (I’m particular for rose tea these days), my night snacks, maybe time to sew or do some woodworking/carving after.

  8. my night routine. putting some music on while doing my skincare, having a glass of wine or hot cup of tea in front of a tv show/movie in bed.

  9. Seeing my partner. We don’t live together and we’ve been together 3 years. I have mental health issues and he really brightens my day. I hate living apart

  10. A stray cat has really taken to me recently. She would always hang out in the yard. At first she ignored me and I just let her be. Then one day she came up to me for fusses. It’s grown from there over the past 2 months. She’s an outside cat and won’t come inside, but I spend a lot of time with her every day. I put food out for her. She started running up to me when I get home and I’d pet her for a few minutes. Well, the other day I was sitting in the yard and she ran up to me and climbed into my lap for the first time. She just made herself at home and stayed there for almost an hour. I’ve been away for the weekend, but really looking forward to seeing her again. Life has been pretty shitty lately, but the way she’s warmed up to me really makes me feel good.

  11. Talking to the person I love at the end of the day and telling him I love him.

  12. The removal of work clothes, a hot shower, and climbing into my husbands sweatpants and a tshirt. It is the most amazing feeling.
