So where I live, there was a festival going on by the city and I went with myself without friends or family. I was walking around and a random guy I didn’t know started following me, he was walking right beside me. Everytime I turned the corner he did. Everywhere I went he followed. I didn’t say anything and tried to not acknowledge him. This went on for about 30 minutes and them he asks asked me to go on a date with him. I said no and walked off, and then he got aggressive. He grabbed my arm. I tried to remain calm and not look like I was scared of him. I just kept repeating no and left. He eventually did leave it alone. I was scared though

This is why you should carry a taser or pepper spray with you. It’s sad that we have to carry things for our own protection

This is where you take advantage of the fact that you are in public. Say very loudly, get your hands off me, get away from me. I don’t know who you are and I don’t care what you want. If you don’t leave me alone, I will call the police for harassment. I’ve had to do this a few times myself, usually other women come to my aid.
