There is a girl at work, who I really like. She truly is beautiful both inside and out. She has a boyfriend, yet she continuously tells me how handsome I am and what a great guy I am and asks why I’m single. Of course, I would never interfere with her existing relationship, so I have kept my feelings to myself.

She told me, and other coworkers yesterday that she resigned to move on to another position and gave her two weeks’ notice. I never felt this way before about anyone and now feel as though I was punched in the stomach.

My question is, do I tell her how I feel about her? If yes, what should I say? If not why?

\*\*TL;DR;\*\*: Should I tell a girl at work, that I like her, now that she is leaving for a new job?

  1. As someone who is going through something similar but on the opposite end, don’t tell her. She’s in a committed relationship with someone else. Truthfully, she shouldn’t be complimenting you like that and boosting your ego when she has a partner at home. You could tell her, and she could become confused about her feelings for both of you. More than likely you’ll be an argument within her relationship. Take it as a sign that she is leaving. Committed relationships are not to be played with.
