Alright here goes.

I’m 20F, my boyfriend is 24M. He was my first, but he had slept with a couple before me.

I’ve had some pain with sex, I believe I may have endometriosis and I’m beginning the process of getting it checked out. He also has a large penis, about 7” and fairly thick.

About a week ago, he mentioned that there was a “bump” inside me and he was concerned about it, saying it might be a cyst or something and that I should mention it to my doctor next time I’m there. I’m pretty well acquainted with myself down there, and I had never noticed any sort of bump or abnormality. I asked if he meant my cervix, and he said no and that “the cervix is so far back inside the vagina that you can’t reach it with your fingers” and that if it was my cervix, there’s no way he’d be able to fit himself all the way inside me because it would be in the way.

He felt it again, then I felt it myself and told him that I was fully able to feel my cervix with my fingers, and that it was the only “bump” in there. He said it’s not my cervix, and I assured him it 100% is. It’s round, semi hard, with a small hole on the front. I can put my fingers around it as well.

He knows anatomy very well and that the vagina lengthens during sex, but he still doesn’t believe me that it’s my cervix. I even told him how sometimes when I use tampons, it’s hard to get it all the way in at the beginning because my cervix is too far down. I have no issue with his size during sex though.

How do I convince him? I showed him diagrams and we both felt it.

  1. Take him with you to the doctor if he won’t believe you.

    Totally sounds like the cervix.

  2. It’s the cervix.

Each time he starts with this shit, telling him stupid shit about his private anatomy (“there’s two UFOs in your nutsack! They’re round and move!”) in an obstinate manner 😛

  3. I was suprised too with my girlfriend’s cervix because she is the first partner I can easily touch hers with my fingers, though I don’t notice it with my dick, and also I heard that it could be painful but she never complained at all.

I’m wise enough not to lecture her about her body though.

  4. He needs to read here – some women have a low lying cervix.. i’m one of them and by the sounds of it, so are you.

I can easily reach mine with my fingers, and like you i also struggle to use tampons at times.

A tip that might help you, is to insert a tampon while standing rather than the usual method of sitting on the toilet. It’s way easier to position it comfortably if i stand and just bend my knees a little. Some other women have said the same thing about tampon insertion with a low cervix as well.

My sister has the same issue – she found it when she was bathing and cleaning herself (yes..i did tell her that the vagina is self cleaning and she shouldn’t be cleaning it out). She freaked out and thought there was something wrong – the nurse told her that it was her cervix.
