I recently started and office job at the quarry where I work. Really cool dealing with the logistics side of things where I used to be an equipment operator. But I now have an issue.

My ass sweats. Bad. I sit in a chair for a while, and I do get up and have to go do stuff and occasionally run equipment, but now I’m getting sweat marks on my ass from just sitting. It seems to start right at the bottom of my belt loop, where my crack begins and then leaves a wet mark spreading across the seams from there.

I wear boxer briefs, tuck in my shirt, which is usually just a cotton t shirt, and wear heavier pants. Like the duck wash carhartt pants(they fit me better than jeans). Also use baby powder, but it doesn’t help. Have any of you guys had this, found a remedy, or a way to prevent it?

  1. well, it’s not possible ? sweat is something your body do on purpose because it is too hot, one thing that could fix that is to wear cloth color that while not show the sweat (white is good at this, grey is the worst)

  2. Wood bead seat cushion like the cabbies use. Used one on my forklift for years.

  3. Antiperspirant (solid bar or spray, I like Dove Clinical) right at the top and under the cheeks by your thighs….not a man, but butt swear sucks so I get it.

  4. Shave and put baby powder. That absorbs real good. I would use for my pits on summer so I look presentable on a suit.

  5. Get some gel or spray antiperspirant and use it where the sweat comes from. Make sure to keep it clean and dry. You don’t want a yeast infection too.

  6. I’ve noticed mixed fabric underwear helps with that. I got polyester and cotton blend briefs and they don’t nearly as sweaty as 100% cotton ones

  7. Thats the neat part, you dont. Dont wear light colored pants where sweat can be seen easily and get corporate to buy you a new mesh chair. Thats about all you can do.

  8. Drysol is a prescription strength antiperspirant (one of my son’s uses this). Apply at night after a shower, wipe off in the morning. You could try using that where the perspiration starts. Odoban is an OTC version of Drysol (not as strong but u might try it first before having to see a physician for the prescription strength).
The mesh chair sounds like a great idea too-Add a fan blowing on ur ass behind the chair.

  9. Yeah try gold bond. Baby powder smell is super noticeable. Also probably get some pants that are much more breathable. Those carhartts probably have absolutley no breathability. The projectfarm on youtube recently did a review on pants so that might help.
