Why he might’ve unblocked me? 22F, 23M

Hello everyone, I had a long distance relationship for 2 years. It was full of love, respect, peace.

He was the one who loved the most, who put in the effort the most and the most patient one. He cared a lot about things and would take the responsibility and the lead almost every time.

One day when everything was going perfect he broke up with me while i was sleeping. I was shocked, his reasons weren’t valid. When i tried to contact he blocked me. I believe it was because of his mother. We were from different nationalities and he was middle eastern….

Anyways, it has been two years. Sometimes he’d post public stories on snapchat and sometimes i’d view them. But no contact overall.

Nowadays it’s his birthday and our “anniversary” times. I just realizes he unblocked me on insta. But idk when he unblocked me tbh I wasn’t regularly checking.

What could be the reason for this? I feel like he is just checking if i’d do a move or not.. lol.
