My ex randomly texted me at 4 AM after months of no contact.
I replied normally, but then her replies started coming after 2-2 hours. Later in the evening she suddenly called me out of nowhere. Before that she had sent me a couple of snaps sitting near some fountain and all.
She called me out of nowhere that time, I pick
On call she asked ne how I am, I asked her back, normal convo. Then I asked where she was and she said she was on a date.
So I said, “Then why did you call me? Enjoy your date.”
She replied “Thik hai,” and I cut the call.
What confuses me is — I genuinely don’t interfere in her life anymore. I don’t text her, don’t try to come back, nothing.
So why do exes randomly come back like this and subtly try to show they’re having fun / on a date / living life? Is it attention? Validation? Curiosity? Or am I overthinking this completely?
