I am what should be called a super sufferer. Since 16 (, I'm 52 now) I haven't just suffered with hayfever, it's ruined my life for 4-8 weeks a year. It causes me to sneeze hundreds of times an hour all day, it keeps me awake all night, resulting in horrendous headaches. I generate enough snot daily to fill skips, probably 2 large boxes of tissues a day to clean that shit, which in turn destroys my nose and leaves me with broken bleeding skin which cracks over and over. I can't work, can't go out can't function. It's the worst thing. I've tried every single treatment etc and this year I considered changing country for a period but that's not really straightforward is it.
This year, not a sniff. Literally. I'm fucking fine. Last autumn, a doctor told me to take mometasone furoate nasal spray and I took it intermittently since October I guess. Once a week maybe.
Despite having this ridiculous condition, I still forget it's going to happen. Has that single little spray fixed me?
Anyone else not dying this year? I'm interested to know if something else has changed.
