Vague title, I apologize. I (20M) started doing work for an old senior neighbor at her new house. Found out she has a younger neighbor that just moved in fairly recently. The first time I saw her we didn’t have any sort of interaction as we were strangers of course but the second time we saw each other, she actually introduced herself to me. We had a small conversation about what we do for work and just got to know each other for a bit. Since the first meet, I found her very attractive looks wise so it was a surprise to me that she introduced herself to me. From my understanding, she doesn’t have a boyfriend.
I’ve been doing work every 1 or two weeks at my ex neighbors house now and as I find this girl attractive, I’ve been trying to find ways to Talk to her and possibly get her number. I asked a friend of mine and she suggested I write a note offering my help with work, maintenance, or odd jobs as a way to get her number and see where it goes from there. It actually worked and she texted me for some work on her backyard which I actually did recently. She asked for a more consistent thing as she lacks the tools to maintain her small yard. My problem is, I have no clue how to start a conversation outside of offering my services. I really want to ask her out to get to know her more but I don’t want to make things awkward or make her feel some type of way. Should I make an attempt to ask her out on a date, or should I keep it strictly business?
