I’ve been really interested in social skills for a while, and throughout the years I think I got really « good » at it. I’m super talkative, have no difficulties talking to people in whatever settings, am considered pretty « charismatic »… but in groups (like 4 to 8ish people) I sometimes worry I take too much of the space/lead the conversation too much. When in a 1-1 discussion I make sure I let the other person talk a lot, ask him questions… but in larger groups I feel I force the conversation to go in whatever direction I want it to go (because, as I said, I got really good at doing so with practice), but it might piss off other people, although not enough for them to tell me directly. So what would you consider someone taking up too much space?
