As the title says, out of the blue I (49F) got a friend request from my fiancés (57M) ex wife. For context, they’ve been divorced well over a decade and are friendly, but I wouldn’t say friends. I absolutely adore their children. The children are all adults with spouses of their own. I have never met or spoken to the ex wife.
I guess I’m wondering if any of you have reached out for any reason to the soon to be wife of an ex partner.
My first thought was she was curiously perusing my profile and accidentally hit the friend request button . My page is private and I have never accepted a friend request from anyone that I e never met. I have no idea what would prompt such an action.
TL;DR – My soon to be husband’s ex wife sent me a friend request.
EDIT: She had an opportunity to meet me in person on more than one occasion and declined.
EDIT (again): My fiancés children are all above the age of 30.
