Ok, so without going into too much detail, me and my partner recently moved house. The day we moved in we were told by the previous owner that they had been feeding this huge seagull everyday for the past four or five years. They said he will let us know when he is there and that was it, good luck. Everyday this bird comes, using his beak to bang against our windows. This more often than not has been waking us up and my partner is at his wits end. The bird will not take things like bird seed, he wants proper food. The lady before us apparently used to make up actual food for him. What can I do? It's a lovely looking bird, doesn't look like he's starving so I know he's not actually relying on us to live. I just need some way to stop him from banging on our windows every damn day. Please if you know of a way let me know, I'm desperate.
