Hello men of Reddit!
I have a genuine question here. I have found that a couple of men I have dated in the past would do/say things that seemed to be purposefully trying to illicit a jealous reaction from me. For example, bragging about hanging out with an ex, bragging about past sexual conquests, bragging about getting a stripper for his friends bachelor party, etc.
I’ve even had one of my exes admit that he was trying to make me jealous when I inquired about why he was hanging out with a female coworker late into the night on multiple occasions.
My genuine question to this is why?? What do men get out of this? I just break up with men like this now. I used to argue/question things but now that I’m a little older I’ve realized I’m not willing to entertain the games. I just don’t get the point of it.
