40yo disillusioned nurse, hi!
I’m really interested in going back to uni and completing an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy, would you choose this career again if you had the choice?
Cliche but I love helping people and there are lots of transferable skills but it’s a big step to take. What are the downsides to the job? Is the market saturated or is there plenty of work to go around? I understand that will vary depending on what you actually offer.
Any input or even subreddit suggestions to join would be greatly appreciated.
