I live in the UK and the woman I met is from Germany. She initially changed her location to London because she was traveling over for 2 weeks and told me so when we matched. We agreed to meet up so I can show her around anyway, turns out we got along really well and ended up seeing each other about 10 times.
She's now back home and we've kept talking to each other, pondering if we should try to make it work nonetheless even though we are both aware of all the challenges that can come with a long distance relationship, and we've made plans to see each other again over the summer.
I've read some articles on how to manage it but thought I'd ask about real life experience.
For those of you who managed to make it work, how did you do it and what advice would you give?
And for those of you who were not able to keep it, what do you wish you'd done differently?
Thanks all!
TL;DR: met a great girl but we're not sure how to manage the fact that we live in 2 different countries, help me make it work! 😁
