Hi. So my bf (M25) and I (F25) have been together for a couple of years and are generally pretty solid. We do not live together but see each other quite regularly, he often stays round at my house. Last week we had unprotected sex and I ended up taking the morning after pill. It was a bit of a push for me to go get more long term suitable contraception which is booked in for a few weeks time. I don’t want a repeat of having to go get the morning after pill so I told him (when he was getting excited in bed) that I didn’t want to have sex for that reason, especially because I had a traumatic termination at 18 which he is well aware of. Anywho, the next morning we did have sex and he finished in me. Which I challenged him on and he apologised profusely. The following morning, he did the exact same thing again. And I’m quite pissed off and not sure how to approach this.
I understand that it takes two to tango. I’m waiting to get long term contraception and in the mean time, I thought at least we’d take our usual approach (pull out method) which I know isn’t perfect. He doesn’t like wearing condoms so it was middle ground.
From now on I will take more responsibility because it’s clear I can’t trust him to wear a condom or pull out. How do I approach this conversation?
