My 21F boyfriend 21M and I have been together for just a little for 2 years. Today, he told me that he dreamt of cheating on me with his (21F) ex. This has happened once before and I was visibly upset when he told me.
Now i do not think that my bf is cheating on me. He has always been loyal and never given any indication of infidelity. He has not been in contact with his ex since they broke up.
I do not blame him for the dream since ik you cannot control what you dream of. But I am unable to let this go.
Whenever I dream about anything related to us, it's always about marriage or a vacation or a date, something positive. So why is he dreaming abt cheating on me? With an ex? This is the second/third time this has happened and I am just hurt. Why is the man I love sm dreaming abt his ex?
We have had no problems in the relationship. There is no contact between him and his ex.
I am unable to understand how to approach this. I do not wish to be emotionally vulnerable with him because I feel guarded. I have just been feeling really sad since this happened.
Ik I'm being irrational. And probably overreacting. How do I approach this?
