I've taken in a few parcels for neighbours over the years. I would hope they would do the same for me, and we have generally good relationships with each other. But I always wonder what the proper etiquette is for after you take it in, so maybe we can decide in this subreddit!

I think if you have a parcel delivered while you are out and a neighbour takes it in for you, it is your responsibility to collect it from them as soon as possible (at a reasonable time). However, my neighbours seem to wait until I knock on their doors with their parcel, which means I need to not only take in the parcel, but then try and take notice of when they appear to be in. I thought this was rude the first time, but I have had multiple neighbours not come and collect. So am I wrong on the etiquette?
