Hi there.
I've recently heard that some Americans leave the AC on 24/7, even when nobody is at home, and found it really surprising (and bit wasteful?). How common is this? I can imagine this being a thing in super hot states when having pets. But if this was not the case, wouldn't just having remote control be better? Personally I turn on the AC with my phone around an hour before coming back from work during the summer. So it made me wonder, how common is this in the US? Both the 24/7 thing and remote AC control.
Cheers from Poland.
EDIT: I didn't expect so many comments. Thank you all, I learned a lot :).
