Obviously context is important but I earn currently £40k per year. This is the highest I’ve earned and I still am not satisfied by it because I still do not have enough disposable income to enjoy things or have couple of hplidays But for the most part you can live a very basic life on 33k (assuming you live alone). Now 40-50k for me I think is a ‘good’ salary for the uk, not great but
However I know people on 55k struggling which is sad.
