Looking for some advice! My boyfriend and I have been together for 8 years now and living together for a year. I have always made it clear to him that I want to be engaged/married. The last year has been really rough for us and he has not always been the most understanding person about a lot of things since moving in. We’ve had many fights about getting married and he even made me cry on vacation and has never been sure about wanting to get married because he doesn’t see the point. Now he has been talking about buying a home for a while, but I always thought it was something we would do together. He has sent me a couple listings, but in a city that I’ve been very clear I do not want to live in. Fast forward a few weeks and he officially bought a house in that same city. I haven’t even seen it in person. He says it’s not fair to him that I don’t want to go and that he’s buying a house that I get to live in. Not sure what to do in this situation and I have been gutted for weeks trying to decide what I should do since I would be uprooting my whole life and increasing my commute to work for someone who’s not sure he ever wants to get married. Am I supposed to go or leave?
