Together for 2 years, lived together for four months and he completely blindsided me. He got on a waitlist for an apartment a month before he ended it and acted so strange.
We had a disagreement and he said he was done, then thanks me for helping him become a better man and then asked why I wasn’t more upset.
I let him leave and didn’t fight it at all. I told him if he left there’s no coming back from this and he will never hear from me again.
He texted me in total 8 times afterwards and in separate texts said things like, “almost done moving.” “Key is on the table.” “Bills are switched over.” “Can I have my heating pad back.” “Can I have money back for the concert we planned on going to in July?”
I never responded and now he tells people I’m obsessed with him & follow him around the gym. Additionally he gets mad if we are there at the same time and will stay away from me or leave.
I never did anything to him. I respected his wishes and moved on. This seems like the most immature breakup I have ever seen. Why continue having sex with me, looking at rings, wedding venues, going on vacation and telling me you want kids with me to two days later I’m done and we never speak again??
TLDR: Dated 2 years, lived together 4 months. He secretly planned his exit, ended things out of nowhere after a small disagreement, and I let him go with no contact. Now he’s telling people I’m obsessed and avoiding me at the gym despite me respecting his decision and moving on.
