Has anyone had their marriage survive a mental health disorder? My spouse suffers from an eating disorder and exercise addiction. She has been in two treatment facilities and failed to complete her stay both times. She has left the house on two occasions to spend time(multiple weeks) away from me and the kids to only come home and go right back in to her eating disorder and exercise addiction. I’m at a loss on what to do. Especially w two young children.

Not as extreme as this but my late wife developed agoraphobia after we had been married about 8 years. She was very reluctant to seek treatment. Your wife needs a psychotherapist and you are going to need a lot of patience.
