Men, what is your most prominent childhood memory and why?

I had a real “wow my dad can beat up other dads” moment when my youngest brother got stuck up in a tree on our grandparents property. He launched himself up 30 feet of branches like a monkey, scooped up my brother, and then jumped gracefully from branch to branch back to the Earth. 12 year old me was in awe.
being bullied and abused while adults just stood by and let it happen.
The one day in 5 years (year 10 in UK) when all the bullies were away from school and didn’t torment or assault me. I could actually smile and enjoy my day.
My most prominent childhood memory is my back not hurting.
I still remember some dreams, a lot of them. All weird.
But what sticks out to me most is praying to God to take me in my sleep. All the time.
I also rode a lot of bikes. I have an insane memory and it’s hard to pick just one.
Lmao.
Does being a teenager count as my “childhood?” If so, what sticks out in my mind is the day we confessed our love for each other.
It was a year after we had met. We were both 13 at the time. I didnt know it at the time, but she approached me as a friend when we were 12 with a secret crush on me. During that entire year of friendship, I slowly developed feelings for her. However, I was way too nervous to tell her how I felt.
I was invited to her older sister’s wedding. It was that night that she confessed her love for me. I told her I felt the same way about her. We decided together that we would be BF/GF.
Been with her ever since. It was 28 years ago that we met. We got married and had a child. Couldn’t be happier together!
I remember a night when I was about 4, right after my parents split and my father was living in a motel. I was crying and saying “I want my daddy!”
I think it’s obvious why.
One time when I was six years old my mum was talking to a friend and I was just running playing then a stranger woman tried to put me in her car but my mum friend notice it. Somehow I will never forget
I was like 8, and I was in the shower, and I had my head leaning against the wall. I swore to myself, “I will remember this moment.” Thirty-seven, now.
I dont have any.
I saw a guy tying himself to the train tracks near my house; minutes later the train passed, and to this day the boy’s mother leaves letters there. It’s one of the saddest and most memorable things from my childhood
Violence tends to stick with you.
Getting beat unconscious left a prominent memory …. up to the unconscious part.
