I’m really quiet, so much so that I can go months without talking in-front of people I’m not close to. With people I’m close to, whether I talk or not really depends on my mood and stress levels. I think it’s social anxiety, but it could just be slightly low self esteem + social fatigue.
Anyways, it’s kind of a problem in terms of sociability. I can tell people want to be my friend/talk to me but I push them away. It’s as if being quiet is my default state for most people.
What can I do over the Summer to rectify this? Im going to University soon and I really want to be sociable and a nice person to have around.
