It's not that I have no *interest* in modern anime. I just have a large backlog and I'd rather focus on completing the large amount of 90s and 2000s anime I want to watch first.
Basically, I haven't seen any new anime made since 2010 or so, with very few exceptions.
With manga, I am better but I mainly stick to josei, seinen, and shojo over shonen. When I do read shonen, it's not the current big battle shonen or sports manga.
