So there was an event where people represent contries in our school. So i was bored and i came up to a random girl who had a flag on their back. İ said, i like your texas flag could you sign my placard? She seemed offended and said this is confederacy flag. For context we arent in america so these arent common knowledge i didnt look at the flag good enough i just wanted to talk and if i was wrong ehh what could happen we would just talk and go on our ways but no. The girls near him laughed a little and she signed it, i thanked her and went away. Now it is 3 am and i just woke up and saw a message of my friend saying if i signed this girls placard or not. They probably gossipped so much that the event even changed a bit until it reached my friend. I explained her that i wasnt interested to her and i was just bored but yee she is apperantly like a director of the event and my friend is too so i probably got made fun of in their groupchat. Was i that awkward man? I was just confident that day and i just thought she was cool and wouldnt be offended and make fun of me for guessing the flag wrong instead maybe we would talk.
