I realized up until this point in life I made friends either by an extrovert adopting me or said extrovert introducing me to their friends. I still have some friends from my 20s but were all moving to our separate areas close to our parents. When I buy my next house how am I going to make new friends close by?
I’m wondering since I never had neighbors close to my childhood home. How many conversations would you get in with a neighbor before inviting them over? How did you get to know people around you? My fiance and I talked about putting a Christmas card in neighbors mailboxes with our phone numbers to try to say hi if we don’t really see people and introduce ourselves that way.
