I need some advice.
I know people are going to say “don’t eat where you shit” but it’s been done so.
I let my coworker know that I’m interested in him (we don’t work with each other often & there’s 30+ people working at the same time as us so we barely see each other in passing too).
He’s a couple years older than me so our texting styles are very different.
In person, he is more approachable and easy to talk to . Very admirable and sweet.
But then he is a whole different person over text.
I feel as if he isn’t as interested in me — eg. doesn’t ask about my day, no good morning or goodnight, no meaningful conversation. We don’t call either.
Do you guys think he is only nice to me in person because we work together and its just a casualty?
Or is it that age difference that maybe is throwing me off in terms of texting styles?
Or should I just back off and take the L…

I was NOT expecting to get any engagement.
We’ve been on a date and he has complimented me a couple times.
