I ended up bitting the bullet and giving someone my number who I see come into my work a lot. I gave them a note with my # and social media and “coffee” with a question mark. I told them it’s cool if not, but that I wanted to shoot my shot. We had a small convo when I gave it to them – smiled and shook hands. They are single.
They ended up following my social media 40 minutes later. I followed back. And that was the end of that. I’m just confused. It’s been over 24 hours now – I’m not sure if they are waiting for me to message them since they followed me, but I don’t want to come off as desperate or over the top if I did.
I’m someone who, is VERY shy. This was out of my comfort zone. Been out of the dating game for well over 4-5 years and even before that it was all from dating apps – so more my level/knowledge with it.
