I love makeup and cosplay makeup, but what is the etiquette for trying someone else's look? Is this the same as copying someone's artwork? Additionally, if I were to take selfies and post my face online, or make tik toks in a makeup look do I need to tag them in every post where I am wearing the look?
I have like no followers but people I personally know. I do it for funzies, nothing is monetized.
When I want to copy a look my gut reaction is that feeling when you get bullied as a kid. Like if you were to see a look and try it (before the internet so IRL or magazines were the only inspo) girls would get pissed and chew you out. In the age of the internet I am not sure if it's rude or fine. This gives me a lot of anxiety and makes me worry too much to try stuff. Maybe it's ok to do?
