A trivial question but I can’t get it out of my head…
Today I saw a softball video where the catcher gives a hand signal behind her back. Presumably this is a signal to the pitcher, but I can’t fathom how the pitcher can see the signal behind the catchers back/buttocks.
I get it when the signal is buried between the front of their thighs, but I’m lost when it’s hidden behind her body.
Please explain to an Australian
